Bronze sculpture. Height 29.4 cm. Mounted on polished, grained black marble base (9.2 x 12.6 x 12.6 cm). Not signed. An early version of the bust with closed skullcap which was most probably cast only in few copies in 1928 (not exactly quantifiable today according to information by the estate, but certainly not more than 10 in total). - Old cast. - With fine dark brown patina, lighter oxidation in the cavities. - The rear left corners of base with small chips.
