An ivory netsuke of various takaramono. Late 18th century

Daikoku’s mallet and two large tama are placed on a sedge hat (kasa) and a rain cape (mino), the two latter takaramono ensuring invisibility for the powers of evil while the mallet and tama stand for good luck.
