Two maki-e inrô. Early 19th century

a) A four-case inrô by Shôyôsai Masayasu, displaying two peacocks and large peonies in a landscape with rocks and a waterfall in takamaki-e on a kinji ground, details of gold foil (some missing) and aogai, nashiji to the inside. With an iron ojime with flowers in brass and enamel, and an ivory netsuke of a seated and laughing Hotei, signed Dôshô, and b) a five-case inrô displaying a landscape with a waterfall and a total of seven minogame in takamaki-e and hiramaki-e on a kinji ground. With an ivory ojime. Both with traces of usage. (2)
