a) Four ôban from the series Tôkaidô gojûsan tsugi no uchi, from various publishers, such as Izutsuya Shôkichi, Tsukiokaya Bunsuke and Iseya Kanekichi, around 1852. The series was designed as a series of diptychs, showing portraits and a landscape near the station in question, which stretches over two prints. Signed: Toyokuni ga in toshidama cartouche. Block carvers: Yokokawa Takejirô, Hori Shôjirô, and others. Various censor seals. Presented are the (partial) stations Okazaki, Ômori, Yamanaka and Fujikawa Okazaki kan. b) Ôban. Series: Tôkaidô gojûsan tsugi no uchi. Two stations on one print, compared to kabuki plays. Miya and Narumi. Signed: Toyokuni ga in toshidama cartouche. Published by Kiya Sôjirô in 1857. (5) Mostly good impressions, some colours a bit faded, slightly yellowed, traces of usage (stains, spots, thin areas, binding holes, worm holes).
