Lempertz - The international Auction House close to you.

1845 – 2020: Lempertz celebrates its 175th anniversary!

Following a successful autumn season, Lempertz auction house is preparing with great enthusiasm for the upcoming anniversary spring auctions, and following tradition, the season opens with the Prussian Sale in our Berlin branch. A Viennese collection – primarily from Austrian private ownership – will be presented in a separate catalogue and also offered for sale in the capital city at the end of April. Alongside the regular auctions in Cologne in May/June, we are thrilled to present the second part of The Schwarzach Mortar Collection, a number of outstanding Roentgen pieces of furniture, exceptional old master paintings, select jewellery, and wonderful highlights of photography, modern and contemporary art. With the Asian Art Department also already having received first-class objects for its auction, we look forward to the coming months with joy and excitement.

Here on our website you can find all the information regarding our sales: click through the auction catalogues, browse our after-sale and read the exciting reports from the Lempertz Academy. Do you own objects, antiques, porcelain or jewellery which you would like to sell for the best possible price? Our highly qualified experts are happy to answer your questions. The dates for our art auctions, our Expert Days and the previews can also be found here. We would be pleased to welcome you at one of our many offices or an auction house around the globe. Auction house with a long tradition

Kunsthaus Lempertz is a family-owned auction house with a long tradition. Our history reaches back to the late 18th century. We are not only very proud of this, but it also reinforces our passion for art.

The departments and auctions in our auction house include Old Masters, Decorative Arts, Antiques, Silver, Modern Art, Contemporary Art, Photography, Asian Art, African and Oceanic Art as well as Watches and Jewellery. In each department our experts are at your service and are happy to advise you.  Prior to every auction you also have the possibility to view the objects in our previews. Each department has at least one auction a year, most of them two. The exact dates can also be found here on the website.

If you wish to have your artwork evaluated or sold, wish to make a purchase, or are interested in a particular auction, please contact us!

Register to bid online and on the phone

In case you are not able to attend at the auction itself, you can follow the sale online.
