Lithograph on heavy handmade laid paper, printed monotype-like from the coloured stone in black, red, blue and brown 27 x 21.4 cm (55.8 x 28.8 cm) Framed under glass. Signed and dated 'Heckel 22' in pencil on the right, inscribed 'farbig gedruckt/mit d. Hand/4. Druck' on the left. State II (with indication of a tent pole on the right); one of very few proofs in this colour combination printed by the artist himself. Today, the Heckel estate knows of only 2 further proofs in these colours, one of them in the estate. - Minimally browned under mat, otherwise in very fine condition.

The few known prints of this colour version "can be distinguished from each other by the monotype-like printing process, which produces different results, although the same colours are used". (Heckel estate dated 14 Oct. 2019)
