Lithograph on light brown wove paper 24.1 x 20.9 cm (38.6 x 28.1 cm), framed under glass. Signed, dated and with the dedication 'Herrn Dr. Merz Glaser zu Weihnachten 1921'. Probably a proof beyond the edition of 110 impressions published as plate 11 of the portfolio with 14 prints: Bauhaus-Drucke neue europäische Graphik, dritte Mappe, Deutscher Künstler, Müller & Co. Verlag, Potsdam 1922. With the Bauhaus embossed stamp (Lugt 2558 b) barely legible lower left. - The right margin torn off and professionally reattached.

The dedication probably is to the Dresden lawyer and collection Fritz Glaser, who is known to have owned three works on paper by Schwitters (Orchard/Schulz 545, 912 und 1003), one of which also with a dedication from the artist.
