Hildesheim, Goldschmiede Maertens, 1970s.

In 1976, the Roemer-Pelizäus-Museum in Hildesheim organised an exhibition of Egyptian antiquities under the title "Echnaton-Nofretete-Tutanchamun". The previous owner of this piece was so impressed by the works on show at the exhibition that she commissioned Goldschmiede Märtens to produce a replica of the famous bracelet of Tutankhamun.
