An early Meissen porcelain teapot with a KPM mark

Of deep rounded form with spout and handle issung from mascarons, and associated but matching lid with disc finial. Both sides decorated with gilt cartouches surrounding finely painted chinoiserie scenes. Blue K.P.M. mark with swords, gold painter's mark 25. The inner rim of the neck and spout ground down, slight surface scratches. H 9, with lid 12.8 cm.
The porcelain ca. 1723/24, decor studio of Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt, ca. 1725.
