YOUNG WOMAN WITH A BASKET OF FRUIT AND TWO MONKEYS

Oil on panel. 120 x 50 cm.

A branded stamp and a collector's seal in red varnish to the reverse.
The work is meant to be viewed from below, and was presumably originally incorporated into wood panelling, as can be seen by the treatment of the reverse of the piece. It was possibly part of a series of the four seasons.
