A large Kanton rhinoceros horn libation cup. 19th century

Carved all around with a few undercuttings with numerous figures including immortals and actors, some of them riding on lions, in a landscape with buildings and willow trees. Chips and restoration to the rim. On a wooden stand carved in openwork with bamboo, magnolia branches and other blossoming branches. Chipped and restored.
Height 17.2 cm; width 16.5 cm; height with stand 23.3 cm
