Satyr with a Krupezion

Bronze, cast in the round, chased and patinated. A standing figure of a naked satyr beside a treestump on a square base. He bends forward as if in a dance, in his hands he holds two cymbals, and he stamps his right foot on a krupezion (a pedal-like musical instrument). After the Roman imperial era marble statue housed in the Uffizi in Florence (inv. no. 220).
Two losses to the right forearm and a crack to the right side of the plinth, each with replacements. Minimal wear. Height 34 cm.
