Stereo daguerreotype hand-tinted. Visible mat opening 6.8 x 4.7 cm each (case size 10 x 12.6 x 1.5 cm). Embossed 'STEREOSCOP VON T. SCHNEIDER UND SOEHNE' on the mat below the images. - The daguerreotype with slight oxidation along mat opening, the case with slight traces of usage. Mounted under a gilt brass mat, in original leather case with built-in viewer.

This daguerreotype was included in the cited exhibition at Deutsches Historisches Museum, Berlin 2008 (cat. 259)
