A Meissen porcelain slop bowl with Hoeroldt Chinoiseries

Decorated to the exterior with Chinoiserie scenes in two large cartouches and "indianische blumen", a further cartouche to the interior. Blue enamelled crossed swords mark, gilt 63. The gilt edging of the cup's inner rim worn. H 9, D 17.3 cm.
Fired before 1723, the painting attributed to the workshop of Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt, late 1720s.
