An ormolu-mounted convertible inlaid console table.

Curled wood, kingwood, rosewood, satinwood, coloured maple and ebonised wood on softwood. With brass and gilt bronze mountings, replaced felt. Can be converted to a card table via hinged back legs. With two Russian labels and a cyrillic mark beneath the top. Restored, subsequent minor shrinkage cracks, the veneer partially loose, some brass mountings lost, the felt replaced. H 75.5, W 101, D 101 cm.
Probably Russian, mid to 3rd quarter 18th C.
