A Danzig parcel gilt silver tankard

Interior gilt. Cylindrical body resting on three claw-and-ball feet, chased foliate clasped scroll handle with thumb piece. Decorated throughout with putti playing in a landscape, the domed hinged lid with pine cone finial, decorated three fruit garlands between portrait medallions. H 17 cm, weight 743 g.
Marks of Christian Pichgel I, 1707 - 15.
