Bronze 16.4 x 12.2 x 9.4 cm Signed 'E. Barlach' left to the seat, foundry stamp "NOACK BERLIN" below. One of 20 unnumbered casts made since 1930; the edition Flechtheim had intended was only accomplished posthumously in the 1970s and 1980s. The present cast is probably such a late posthumous piece. - With fine dark golden brown patina. - Two small stains to the left side.
