An unusual spherical boxwood netsuke of Daikoku’s and Ebisu’s attributes and takaramono, by Hidemasa. First half 19th century

The sphere is carved in relief with Daikoku’s mallet and berret, a tama, chôji and kagi, kanebukuro and mino, kasa and a sea bream, all on a wickerwork ground with a fundô at the base. Signed Hidemasa in an oval reserve.
