An amusing and fine ivory netsuke of Fukurokuju and karako, by Masakazu. 19th century

Standing with a scroll tied to his staff and a tray to catch the falling hairs that a karako sitting on a furoshiki at Fukurokuju’s back is shaving. Hair tufts and scroll knobs of black horn. Signed Masakazu in an oval reserve.
