A fine ivory netsuke of a tanuki with a sake gourd. 19th century

Standing wearing a lotus leaf on his head, which is supported by his upright tail, a sake gourd hangs from its left paw, while the right paw holds a small lotus leaf which can be used as a cup. The eyes of black horn.
