A Berlin KPM porcelain plate decorated with a scene from Faust I.

With a depiction of Gretchen praying to the Virgin Mary in the centre, inscribed on verso with the accompanying passage from Goethe's famous play. Blue sceptre mark with orange enamel dash, painter's mark and impressed numbers. Diameter 25 cm.
