A painted and gilt softwood bracket made for the Neue Palais in Potsdam.

With a veined white marble top. An interesting piece with a fine composition of openwork rocailles to the front. With an inventory label to the back of the apron: "Neues P.. Zimmer No VII lfde No 74", further painted marks. Two further inventory labels to the marble top, one inscribed "Schloß Neues Palais Zimmer Nr. VIIa Lfde Nr. 14, ...75 (?)" With retouches, one small rocaille replaced, minor chips to the edge of the marble. 73 x 78.8 x 40.3 cm.
