The chain with articulated links of foliate design. Danish fineness 765, 18k, maker's mark "GJ", no. 306. L 18.5 g. Weight 23.9 g.
Georg Jensen (Raavad/Denmark 1866 - ibid. 1935).

Gold jewellery by Georg Jensen is very rare, and was only produced in the earliest phase of his workshop career. He opened a shop in Paris in 1918 and since then his works in gold were stamped with the international "18k" gold stamp as well as the Danish fineness 765 so that they could be exported to France.
