Watercolour on paper. 27.5 x 36 cm.

On the reverse of the work is an inscription stating it to be a watercolour sketch for an oil painting for the Tsaress of Russia. Among the prominent visitors of the summer concerts in Wilhelmsthal were Tsar Alexander I of Russia (died 1825), Anna Pawlowna and Franz Liszt.
