A Flemish carved ivory high-relief depiction of Saint Jerome, circa 1700.

A half-figure depiction of the saint in profile turned to the left before a smooth background. The penitent saint is depicted in a cardinal's garb, with his attributes, the open book and skull beside him.
Slightly soiled, otherwise in perfect condition. Firmly mounted to a wooden base. 11.5 x 8.3 cm.
