Bronze Height 20 cm. Mounted on mottled grey stone base (10.3 x 8.5 x 12 cm) Monogrammed 'GK' (joined) on the back of the neck to the left and with foundry mark "H.NOACK BERLIN" on the reverse of attachment. Posthumous cast. - With yellowish, olive-coloured patina.

Kolbe repeatedly developed independant sculptures from the heads of his figurines - this is also the case with the present head which originates from the 1920 figurine "Aufblickende" (Berger 37). According to Ursel Berger, the number of casts is unknown.
