Bronze. Mounted on rectangular, mottled grey stone base (1.8 x 21 x 6 cm) Height 18 cm Monogrammed 'RS' on the back side of the left hind hoof. - Dark brown patina, in places with slight highlights. - Right third of stone base (shell limestone) broken and reattached.

According to Berger, no information on the edition of the bronze "Stolzes Fohlen" can be provided. This bronze is a "high-qualitiy, certainly older cast with fine patina." (Berger expertise)
