Colour aquatint and etching on heavy chamois coloured Japon nacré after a motif by Fernand Léger 47.4 x 31.4 cm (63 x 45.5/45.6 cm) Framed under glass. Signed and numbered by Fernand Léger and with the signature of Jacques Villon in the plate. Proof 8/200. Édition Galerie Bernheim-Jeune, Paris. - Minor defects in the wide margins, a narrow light trace on the left plate margin. The paper minimally browned in the mat opening. Fine impression, the colours fresh.

After Fernand Legér's paintings "Femme tenant un vase" which exist in several variants, corresponding most with the version of 1927 to be found in the New York Guggenheim Museum today (Bauquier vol. III, 528)
