A Ko-Hagi Ido chawan. 17th century

A large Ko-Hagi Ido chawan of conical shape on a high foot, the rough sherd with a beige-coloured, finely crackled glaze with a few pinkish discolourations. Crack to the well and crack to the wall with a small lacquer restoration to the rim. 17th century. Brocade bag and wooden box inscribed on the lid Ko-Hagi Ido chawan.
