A Kyoto Raku chawan. Edo period

A Kyoto Raku chawan, the squarish shape of tawara type, on a square foot, the thin sherd covered with an amber-coloured glaze changing into yellow. Several cracks restored with gold lacquer. Stamped Raku to the outside. Edo period. In addition a heavily potted summer chawan with a whitish glaze inside, and a black and whitish glaze outside, leaving the round foot exposed. (2)
