An Edo/Tokyo school ivory netsuke of Daikoku and Ebisu, by Tomochika. Late 19th century

Daikoku stands in front of a large mortar, pounding mochi, while Ebisu stands beside him with a piece of mochi, in front of him a small water bucket, in which Ebisu can wet and cool his hands. Signed Tomochika.
