An 18k gold and carved emerald brooch

The round, natural emerald carved with the portrait of a maenad after a Classical design (diameter ca. 19.2 mm, H ca. 12.4 mm, ca. 26 ct). The frame pavé set with brilliants and eight dark and light grey pearls (diameter 2 and 5 mm resp.) Stamped "Friedrich". The nose of the cameo chipped. 2.6 x 2.6 cm. Weight 20.6 g.
