A gilt copper mounted black serpentine tankard. Monogrammed "MSHBF" and dated "1617" to the underside of the finial. Partial wear to the gilding, with a reattached breakage visible under UV light. H (incl. lid) 18.5 cm.
The mounting probably Austria, 1617.
