An Italian marble sculpture of a young couple, 1888.

Carved in the round, resting on a three-part Italian serpentine pedestal.. The plinth inscribed and dated "Firenze 1888", the signature possibly legible as "C. Lafrini".
The front edge of the plinth lost, minor losses to the plinth, a filled crack to the top surface. Height of sculpture 81 cm, of the plinth 107 cm.
