Mountain farms and wayside shrines in front of a dramatic mountain scenery belong to the most used motifs of the painter Oskar Mulley from Kärnten who worked in Kufstein, Tirol, since 1918. His paintings executed in characteristic spatula technique display masterly composed, almost always deserted views in which the fragility of human existence is addressed in the midst of the impressive alpine world.
