A gilded bronze figure of Buddha seated in meditation with hands held in dhyanamudra above the feet, spiky hair curls covering the head and ushnisha while the borders of the monastic robes are finely engraved with flowers and scrolls. Late Ming dynasty. Carved wooden base.
