A bronze figure of a Buddha. 17th century

A bronze figure of a Buddha seated in meditation with hands folded and an urna reserved from the large hair curls covering head and ushnisha. Set on a separate lotus growing out from a pond encircled by a balustrade on a base on six feet. The flesh parts of the figure with gilding, the robes and the base with remains of a black lacquer patina. 17th century.
