A Berlin KPM porcelain potpourri vase with "fleurs en terrasse"

Baluster form vase on a square plinth. Decorated with detailed wildflowers, a band of faux-hieroglyphics and finely etched lion's heads and swags. Blue sceptre mark with underglaze blue dash, the vase incised 75, the base 39. The finial attached with wire, the gilding of the heads slightly worn. H 28.8 cm.
Ca. 1795.

A version with faux-stone sold in Lempertz Berlin auction 922 on 24th May 2008 now in the Egyptian Museum in Berlin.
