A white glazed figure of a putto on a semispherical base, shouldering a heavy floral garland painted in vivid, contrasting colours. Blue sceptre mark, red imperial orb mark, model no. 9845, year letter N for 1913. Signed "Fritsche" to the base. H 26.2 cm.
1913, designed by Martin Fritzsche.

Inspired by Michael Powolny's figures of putti, Martin Fritzsche produced numerous similar figures for KPM in 1908/9. This piece was modelled as a finial for a large vase.
