Decorated with a continuous relief showing figures representing the Soviet youth movement. Unidentified impressed mark. Faults in the glaze of the neck. H 31 cm.

The pioneer organisation for Soviet youths from 10 - 15 years old was established in 1922 based on the Scout movement. In the 1970s the pioneers boasted over 25 million members.
