Memorial plate with a red flag

A shallow plate with a cobalt blue border, decorated to the centre with a red flag over a hammer, sickle and wheat sheaves and dated above 1917 - 1919. Blue enamel hammer, sickle and cog mark dated 1920. D 24.4 cm.
State Porcelain Factory Petrograd, 1920, designed by Rudolf Wilde.

This plate was produced to commemorate the second anniversary of the October revolution. The inscription to the border reads "Triumph of the Workers 25th October".
