An unique 18k gold, sapphire, emerals and opal brooch by Falko Marx

Designed as an oval plaque with relief decor depicting a castle, set with 9 diamonds, two yellow and seven blue sapphires, five emeralds and three opals. Stamped maker's mark "FM", fineness 750/18 ct, dated and signed "1.7.87 Falco Marx". One opal with a hairline crack. L 5.2 x 4.3 cm. Weight 24.2 g.
