An 18k gold-mounted crystal glass Royal toilette suite

Comprising nine carved rock crystal bottles mounted with domed screw-top or hinged lids monogrammed "MA H" beneath a prince's crown. Stamped fineness 750. Total weight of gold ca. 300 g.
Circa 1920.

The royal initials probably refer to the Princesses Maria Antonia and Maria Adelgunde of Hohenzollern, who were born on 19th February 1921 in Sigmaringen. The twins were the eldest daughters of crown prince Friedrich Viktor von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen and his wife Princess Margaret of Saxony. The set was possibly a christening present.
