A German 14k gold, diamond and pink rubelite Belle Epoque brooch with an Oriental pearl droplet

Of openwork design, set with 38 old-cut diamonds and a Ceylon-cut pink rubelite of ca. 13.17ct, suspending a Baroque pearl droplet (not tested, ca. 11.93 x 15.5mm) in a diamond setting. Can be converted to a pendant via a diamond set hook and a platinum chain. In the original fitted case marked "E. Schürmann Hofjuwelier Wiesbaden". Total H 5.5 cm. L chain 41 cm. Total weight 21.9 g.
