A Parisian Louis XVI ormolu cartel clock

Glazed white enamel dial. Large 14-day pendulum movement with quarter-hourly striking to two bells and verge escapement. Of opulent cartouche design decorated with trophies, the eagle-form finial and lower border possibly replaced. Chips and cracks to the enamel, the glass of the pendulum aperture lacking, the pulleys replaced. H 80, W 36.5 cm.
