A Limoges enamel panel with the mourning of Christ

Polychrome enamel on a slightly arched copper plaque, the flesh tones in relief, gilding, red-brown counter enamel. A curved panel depicting a scene with four figures flanked by two columns and an arch. The spandrels restored, the blue and red tones slightly dull due to corrosion, remains of glue to the reverse. H 12, W 8.7 cm.
