A Parisian Louis XV inlaid cartel clock
Ormolu-mounted clock with brass and tortoiseshell marquetry, 12-piece enamel indices in a brass dial, 14-day pendulum movement with half-hourly striking to a bell and thread suspension. Of three-piece design comprising clock, bracket, and surmount. Engraved to the plate "Chles Le Roy AParis". Minor losses to the marquetry, breakages and old restorations to the bronze. H 105.5, W 42 cm.
