A large Parisian Régence pendulum clock

Ormolu-mounted and inlaid with brass and tortoiseshell, 25-piece enamel indices in a brass dial. 14-day pendulum movement with half-hourly striking to a bell. Of three-piece design comprising clock, bracket, and surmount with sculptural finial. Engraved to the plate "L.Tallon AParis". Cracks to the enamel, casting faults to the figure of Chronos. In restored and overwrought condition, the bronze mountings of the base replaced, the movement converted to anchor escapement, in working order. H 133.5, W 56 cm.
