A Brussels carved wood figure of a saint

Carved almost in the round, the reverse slightly flattened. Minimal remains of presumably original polychromy.. A figure of a female saint with finely carved drapery, features, and hair. She stands with her head tilted slightly to one side, holding a rosary in her hands. The former attribute on the lower left is now lacking, but the figure is traditionally thought to depict St. Agnes.
The right hand lacking. Losses due to insect damage to the plinth and back of the right arm. The lower right lappet of the gown replaced. Height 40 cm.
