This and the following lot are presumed to be those listed in the "Katalog der von der Königl. Akademie der bildenden Künste in Dresden alljahrlich veranstalteten Kunst-Austellung. 1869." under numbers 191 and 192 (p. 35) as "Nausikaa" and "Urteil des Paris". Both works are also listed in Friedrich von Boetticher's "Malerwerke des Neunzehnten Jahrhunderts", vol. 1, Dresden 1891, later edition Leipzig 1941, p. 854, as nos. 7 and 8.
